Happy April fools' day!

I'm feeling very old and boring today, I have no intentions of pulling a single April fools prank on anyone. I don't have any good ideas, and quite frankly, it would require too much effort :p
So, instead, I'm sharing my thoughts on the L.A. Girl Pro. BB Cream with you.

A lot of people have been talking about this brand lately, but after reading Luzanne's (www.pinkpeonies.co.za) post about this BB cream, I decided I had to try it out for myself, because she is one of my favorite South African beauty bloggers. Tati from Glamlifeguru also loves this BB cream, and that woman is flawless, she can do no wrong.

I filmed my first impressions on this product, so you can check out my video over here:

But I'll give you the highlights, in case you don't feel like watching :)

Pros :

  • Lightweight, you can't even tell you're wearing it
  • Decent amount of coverage for a BB cream (light coverage, buildable to light-medium)
  • Not cakey at all
  • Dewy finish, but not oily
  • Lasts really well
  • Can be set with a powder if you prefer a matte finish (like I do)
  • Fragrance and Paraben free
  • Can be used as a primer underneath your  regular foundation

Cons :

  • No SPF, I wish it had some kind of sun protection, since a BB cream is supposed to be an all-in-one miracle cream.
  • I found that you use quite a lot of product per application
  • Even the lightest shade is a bit too dark for me
This BB cream retails for R59.95 and is exclusive to Dischem stores.

In a nutshell, it's a really good product. I'm glad I decided to try it out, and I can see why everyone loves it so much.

Thank you so much for reading ♥

xoxo Adel
