Hi lovelies,

Can you believe it's the end of June already?! Time flies.

Starting this month I will be posting my monthly favorites every month, to show you all of the things I have been loving and the things that I haven't been too impressed with. Let's jump straight into that:

Favorites.

  1. White glo express whitening system (R199 - Dischem) . I absolutely love this stuff. It takes quite a few applications before you start noticing a difference, so if you're after a quick fix, this is not for you. But if you are patient and don't need your teeth whitened instantly I would definitely recommend this. I have done about 25 applications so far and my teeth are much whiter than they used to be, not quite as white as I'm hoping to get them, but we're getting there, I still have more than half a bottle left. I have very sensitive teeth and this hasn't really made my teeth any more sensitive than they were before I started using it.
  2.   John Frieda miraculous frizz-ease recovery intensive masque (Clicks) . Talk about a mouth full. Except for the ridiculously long name, this stuff
is amazing! At first I wasn't super impressed with it, I thought it was just another average hair mask. But after using it a few times I can definitely
see an improvement in my hair, my natural curls are much more manageable since it really does help with the dreaded frizz.

 3.    L'oreal True Match Foundation (R83 - Dischem). This is my new all time favorite foundation, it's a medium coverage foundation that just looks like           skin. It has a silky matte finish and it lasts a good few hours. If you have dry skin it might emphasize dry patches. But it's perfect for normal,                  combination and oily skin.

4.    Coconut oil (R13 for 100ml - Spar) . Everyone has been raving about coconut oil and I just had to try it for myself. I love it, it's the best makeup             remover I have ever used, it melts away waterproof mascara. I also use it for my dry undereyes every night before bed and as a general all over               body moisturizer. I have been using it on a scar on my leg, hoping it would help it fade, but so far I haven't noticed a difference.

5.    Olivia Olive oil lip balm (R13 for 2x5ml tubes - Olivedale clinic Pharmacy) . This is my favorite lip balm of all time, it's thin and not waxy at all, it        super moisturizes your lips and I don't have to reapply it too often. It gives my lips a nice sheen, almost like a lip gloss effect.

Flops.

1.    Pantene Colour Brilliance shampoo & Conditioner (Available at most stores). This shampoo and conditioner did absolutely nothing for my hair. In         fact,I think my hair was in worse condition after using it. a Lot of people swear by Pantene, but I wasn't impressed by this shampoo and conditioner         at all.

2.    Clere Berries and Cream hand and body lotion (R13 - Spar) . I am addicted to body lotion. I'm not very fussy about what moisturizer I use on my          body and I like to experiment, so for me to say I didn't like a body lotion, you know it has to be quite awful. This body lotion feels very tacky on the          skin and it doesn't smell like berries at all. It doesn't smell horrible, but it has a very artificial - lab created - smell.

I have a video all about my June favorites and flops if you would like to watch it:

I hope you all had a lovely June and that July will a happy and blessed month!
xoxo Adel
